Expedition

I set out a bit late, but the sky was clear and the sun was still in it when I arrived at about 6:15pm. The hashpoint was in a suburban neighborhood with some very new-looking construction. Just north of NW 154th Street is a mostly empty fenced-off field that will probably be developed for more suburbs soon. I parked on the north side of the road, near some (also parked and idle) construction vehicles and walked a short distance to the hashpoint.

The hashpoint appeared to be just barely in the street, maybe a couple of feet from the sidewalk. I took a few pictures of the area and returned to the field where I had parked.

While the field was waiting to be constructed upon, it was home to a herd of cows, one very dead-looking tree, and not much else. The cows must have been been really bored out there - they took an interest in me as I took some pictures of them.

For good measure, I drove though the hashpoint for a Speed Racer Achievement before leaving. Admittedly, it was at a much lower speed than the posted limit because I made a right turn just a few yards before reaching it. So I was going the maximum safe speed under the circumstances.
