Thanks to my current status as a penny-pinching NEET, I'm trying to complete this geohash run within TransitLink's transfer rules. It might just be possible depending on traffic and bus schedules, but I can't linger at the hashpoint. Current plan: 980 and 171 to the hashpoint, 963/966 and MRT back home. If I can make it within the two-hour total transfer time, it should count as one trip. And for the moment of truth... drumroll please...

I made it! Four transfers and 1 hour 50 minutes later, not only did I successfully reach the geohash, I also completed the ~~secondary quest~~ grocery run and did it all in one fare trip!

I had two locations to choose from to make the grocery run, with the option of either Bukit Panjang Plaza or Woodlands Civic Centre. My initial choice was Woodlands as it still adhered to my original plan (both 963 and 966 terminated there), but I would have to walk twenty minutes to and from the store. So it was a blessing to see 973 which conveniently stopped at Bukit Panjang Plaza. I don't think I would've done it within the time limit had I gone to Woodlands.
