I would be in for an Everglades hike to a hash. I would also, assuming no local hashers in the Palm Beach graticule, or an inaccessible hash there, be willing to make the trek for a Miami Saturday meetup. aperfectring 21:55, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Anonymous lurker here. Unfortunately, I'm not in SoFla at the moment and not until the beginning of August. Its a shame, because there were two excellent hashes in the middle of the city this past week. Anyway, I am up for an everglades hash and a water hash if we can find someone with a boat. How do you propose we go about doing an everglades hash, most aren't exactly accessibly even by hiking. alexR 14:43, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
The Everglades hashes in the Palm Beach graticule tend to be a bit more accessible than the ones in Miami. They are usually only 4 or 5 miles off the roads in Palm Beach instead of the 20+ miles in Miami. It might be better, however, to just look at past ones and plan one out ahead of time. I know this doesn't quite follow the random adventure part, but it is probably the only realistic way to go about it. aperfectring 14:50, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Visitor to the graticule
Are there any active hashers in Miami? I'm going to be in town for the next 4 weeks for work and might be able to do some weekend hashing if any come up. -- Rhonda 18:57, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- You may want to do an announcement in the Palm Beach graticule as well. There are two geohashers in that graticule who were active relatively recently, and I know that they don't mind travelling down to the Miami graticule for an accessible hashpoint. But most of all, I wish you luck in the locations of the hashpoints, because they rarely hit an accessible place. --aperfectring 03:25, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

- APR isn't kidding about accessibility - most hashes around here require either a boat (ocean), an airboat (swamp), or a personal contact in Big Agro (farm, and not the Old MacDonald kind). But I do check every day, and I do try (well, if I'm feeling motivated enough...). I live in the south of the Palm Beach graticule, so a meetup either there or in Miami should be possible if the Dow Jones Pseudorandom Number God deigns to approve.
