The last time I went geohashing in the Bockmerholz was more than three years ago. Back then I lived in central Hannover and had to take a tram to Laatzen and walk from there. This time I can approach the forest from the other side by bicycle because I live closer.

So I took my bike and arrived at the the site shortly after 16:00. Georg surprised me by being there, he had arrived a little earlier. I located the exact coordinates. We then walked back to the tram station at Kronsberg via Wülferode. Georg took a tram and I got groceries and rode the bike home.

I left home at 9:30, but this was too late to get the 9:53-train at Ihringshausen, so I traveled via the city and made some additional preparing for the journey. Then I traveled with two trains to Hannover and then with the tram to the Kronsbergsiedlung and with a bus to Wülferode. There I walked to the hash and found it beyond a leaning tree. The ground was bad for a dance and I didn't want to dance beyond that tree. Fippe arrived ten minutes later and made his own dance. Then we walked back to the tram station, where I took a tram and Fippe made some shopping. My whole travel distance was 193 kilometers or 120 miles.
