[edit] Plans

Mennoowh is going over this highway for work and will try to claim both an Easy and a Speed racer. Although I have no GPS equipent available, I'll try to gain evidence by photographing/filming and comparing it with ze streetviews

[edit] Expedition

For my work, I was going to the Maasvlakte/Slufter twice this day. We were to count people kitesurfing and sailing near the coast of Voorne and the Maasvlakte. It would have been hard not to pick up the hash on the way back (twice), although I only realized it was possible to get this hash a few hours before we were leaving. We did not have a GPS with us apart from the TomTom car navigation, but that one didn't show coordinates. So I memorized the location from google maps and streetview to recognize it from the car as my colleague was driving. As we neared the hashlocation I took pictures with a camera and tried to get the TomTom in the picture as well, but it proved to be lovely weather outside, which resulted in the tomtom screen being very dark on the photopgrah. I know that it said 97 km/h at the moment of photographing, but it's reallyreallyreally hard to see. The maximum speed there is 100 km/h. The first passage was at 11:16. The second passage happened at 17:37. I then took a picture with my telephone, but on this picture the TomTom is even harder to read, but as I recall it we passed at a speed of 103 km/h.

Well, all in all I did get the hash. It was a very easy one as I did have to go along there for my work twice(!), and also a speedy one, although the proof might not be convincing to an outsider. Also, I only used the Google streetview image in my head to confirm my position at the hash, so I think it also qualifies as battery-less. Some weeks later I realized I also gained the consecutive hash achievement (2 hashes in a row with the 2012-05-24 52 5 and this one).
