Attendance:Chris, Ryan, David, Frank, Joel, and David
3:50 Chris attended the rummage sale about 100 feet from the coordinates. Purchased a nice box of wires, connectors, and power supplies for $5. 4:00-4:20 More people trickled in by bicycle and car. The pedestrian walkway had a shade-tree and made a very nice meeting spot. Activities included diabolos, a unicycle, a ripstik, and a game of Mexican Train. We all adjourned to National Coney Island for dinner and discussion about sci-fi books.
Matt Looks like I might be able to make it to this one. It's just south of the Home Depot in Madison Heights. Anyone else planning to go?
Ryan: I've been busy the last two Saturdays since this has started. How fortunate for the first one I can actually make to be like 10 minutes away! I'll be there. Or as close as I can be with out spooking the people in that house.
Chris: The public sidewalk to the north is close enough that people will see us when they show up, and I don't think we will get chased away. If we want to use the front yard of that house like the map shows, then obviously the first person who arrives needs to knock on the door and ask permission. If we are denied permission, I think that Edison park three blocks to the south should be our fallback location. (The sidewalk to the North is not far enough away if we have already been asked to leave.)
