UCanDance - We left Christchruch at about 1pm. Six of us piled into one station wagon, quite legally of course! :P Photos will be posted shortly. Did not see any other geo-hashers on site, arrived at around 4:30 after a 1 hr hike, no one was seen on the walk up to the site.

The site was in the Lees Valley, near a town, well location, well farmhouse... Called Glenburn, 2 1/2 hrs drive from Christchurch. Much on gravel roads including a drive through the picturesque Ashley Gorge. The hike consisted of a 1 hr hike which climbed 300m along an icy and unkempt 4wd farm track. The final location was in a thicket of thorns which detered our female. On the journey home our vehicle's electronics failed as we entered Christchurch, resulting in a towing and a very late night! An adventurous day all round.

gregh - Two of us left about two hours too late and turned back in the middle of Lees Valley around 5pm. Nice drive, though.
