I am Hurricane. I usually geohash in the Houghton (47,-88) graticule, but if the hash lands in the upper third of the Wakefield (46,-89) graticule or the Iron River (46,-88). I usually geohash with my grandma Susie and my friend Avery. We have never seen another geohasher (that I did not drag into this), so if you are in the area I am usually on the spot at 4 o'clock.

Equipment

I usually bring the following items:

• my lap top (for the gps)
• compass(has actually saved my butt a few times)
• a few heavy coats
• back pack filled with food and water
• a heavy mil garbage bag
• fire starting equipment
• my grandmas highlander(thank god for awd!)
