- Sorry Robyn, I've not been looking at my pages recently. This is a GREAT graticule for biking. Rolling hills with open countryside. Bear and I ride our MBs down our little country road to a church and back...about 10 miles total...though we've not ridden much in the past 6 months. 10 miles is about our limit :o) Raleigh has a nice Greenway system. In fact, Bear will drop me off at her work spot and I'll bike 11 miles south to my work spot in a few weeks for the annual Bike-to-Work...and I'll take the Greenway the whole way except the last 1/4 mile. There is an active Randoneering group in Raleigh and their courses run south from Raleigh into the country. People around here are nice to bikes on the road...as long as there's not a group packed up and taking up the whole lane...they get grumpy over that. ;o)--NCBears 16:46, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
