Talk:Australia

From Geohashing

What is the purpose of this page. It seems to be redundant. --CJ 07:50, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

My guess would be lists of Australian specific info and links. e.g: UHF CB info, Australian tresspass laws, Australian Kite shops, populations of graticules etc. Essentially "What sets Australian hashing apart from other countries?". Besides the current depressing cold, of course.
I would do it, but I'm not really here right now. ...don't tell my wife I'm not working
If it's not done in a few weeks when I've finished my current work pile I'll give it a crack --Andrew 08:04, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Yeah that all makes sense (I just hadn't thought of it that way - I was thinking it was meant to be a summary of the graticules in Australia, which the Category:Australasia page serves). Oh and don't tell my wife I'm not working either :P --CJ 08:08, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Happy to get this started with a fresh pair of eyes. If anyone has better pics of their capital city, please go for it. Kozz 00:09, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
This page is great! I just never saw it before. Maybe I'll make one for Canada. Are the cities in any particular order? Thepiguy 02:35, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
Hey, thanks for the feedback. It's in the order of most regularly hashed in the past 12 months or so, by my guesstimation. Kozz 10:58, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
wow... i'd totally missed this as well... maybe i'll actually have to do something useful to it as well... --mykaDragonBlue [- i have no sig -] 07:45, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
It was such an empty page before, and I know there's always interest in the Southern Hemispherian grats, especially from our friends up north. I think Melbourne page (particularly discussion) might be due for an overhaul in a bit as well. Kozz 10:58, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
