Location

The hash lay on the bank of a brook behind the sewage work of Bad Arolsen.

Hitchhiking and walking.


		I left home at 11:30, started to hitchhike at 12:30 and with two cars I arrived at Bad Arolsen at 15:00. Because I ended up at the very west of the city, I started with a sightseeing tour around Bad Arolsen. On this tour I found the 9th meridian. Here, in Bad Arolsen, it is! And I calibrated my GPS to it.
		I made a long zig zag walk, but at last I arrived near the hash. I walked across the meadow, walked near to the brook and could get a 5 meter shot.
		But I was not at the hash and there the brook was deep and lined with nettles. While I looked around, I saw a small bridge across the brook and I tried it. The bridge led to a gate in the fence, but I couldn't get nearer than seven meters.

		I went back to the meadow and took the usual photos. South and north. West and east. And the geohasher. For the homerun I started to hitchhike at 18:00 and with a car and a truck I arrived at Kassel at 19:30 and at home at 20:00.
