The Plan
I noticed on my daily check of the Yakima Geohash that the hash was located just off my normal route home. That coupled with the fact that it was my 25th birthday, I decided to be spontaneous and go for the hash. I dragged a coworker along for his smart phone (still need a way to document hashes).
The Expedition
Parked at the 16th Ave Greenway parking lot, walked across the freeway overpass bridge, then walked along the on-ramp to the site of the hash. Location was covered in cheatgrass and loose soil, but we pervailed through these "difficult" conditions. Once documentation was accomplished, coworker and I headed down to the local watering hole for Taco Tuesday and beer.
