I set out very late, like 9 pm from Annandale where I had dropped off Allison after the previous expedition of the day.

I drove up to Sharpsburg through winding mountain roads. I completely lost all data and most voice about 10 miles away so I uploaded the pictures later from the safety of my own home. I pulled over and took a pic of myself while I was at the geohash stationary. I then drove in a square around some alleys so I could come at the location for the speed racer. It was about 10:30 pm and no one was around. I shallow staged at the stop sign, checked for traffic, and gunned it.

Speedo read 25 MPH just as I was passing the point, so success. Speed racer achievement unlocked.

I almost got lost on the way back, not having my trusty Google Nav, but I made it. Very mountainous country--my engine was laboring going over the mountains, but I made it!
