The day's coordinates were on a farm in Lenawee County.
excellentdude: Computer problems made me go shopping in Ann Arbor on this day. Ultimately, I only got some information and not any products to help me. Regardless, before I left East Lansing, I noticed the day's coordinates were in Lenawee County in the very southeast corner of my home graticule. Since only a small portion of Lenawee County is in my graticule, I couldn't pass up this opportunity to make progress on my reverse regional geohashing achievement. So after we were done at the mall, we headed toward the hash.
It was mostly sunny, but rained off and on along the way. When we finally reached the general area of the hash, a pocket of sunshine opened up. As stated above, the hash was on a farm so we tried to get permission to access the point. We tried the two houses closest to the hash, but no one was home at either of them. Not wanting to trespass, I drove along the road until I got to roughly the correct longitude, snapped a picture of the field in the direction of the hash, and headed home. Lenawee County would have to wait for another time!
