Today's hashpoint in Kamloops was too easy to not get, being right on a fairly busy road in Sahali. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any active geohashers in Kamloops at the moment.

So, Rhonda called up her parents, explained the game to them, and got her mom to get the hashpoint!

The point was on Notre Dame Dr., between Columbia St. and Summit Dr., right beside a bus shelter in front of "the chicken joint". (I have no idea what the name of the chicken place is, having not lived in Kamloops for a while.)

Mom even wrote 'xkcd' on the sidewalk with a pencil, being unable to find my sister's old sidewalk chalk. My mom is awesome!

Achievements

Rhonda's mom earned the Virgin Graticule Achievement by being the first to reach any hashpoint in the (50, -120) graticule, here, on 2009-04-27.
