Ada's real name is "Huw". He is named after his dog. He claims that he prefers "Ada" because more people know how it is pronounced. However, we all know it's actually because he is a massive pansy who wishes he was a girl.

Ada the Dog tells people that she is named after a Victorian mathematician. However, all her friends secretly know that she is in fact named after a brand of shoe polish.
