From Geohashing

Starbird, Thanks so much for the encouragement! I will definitely be taking a road trip tomorrow- and I thought I wouldn't have anything to do over spring break! Now I need to find someone with a GPS, or it'll be a no batteries achievement... 216.220.15.211 03:40, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Hey there, neighbour. Just checking the global village and it turns out that we are practically next door neighbours. So hi, and I'll see about carpooling next time we have a hash. Regards, wOl. -- UnwiseOwl 00:09, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Yes, we can travel to the hash in the same fractional car. See you there! --starbird 01:47, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Globetrotting

Your Japan expedition(s) put you on the list of globetrotting geohashers! You may take this shiny ribbon, if you like: --Ilpadre 11:44, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Yes, indeed. I've been looking forward to this ribbon. Thanks for "making" it for me. --starbird 13:20, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

I took this picture for you.

Template:maintained

Hi starbird. In the discussion about customizing graticule templates, we have proposed a template Template:maintained to be included on pages that wish their graticule template to look different. If you agree with the idea and the wording, could you include it on your hand-crafted pages? -- relet 10:22, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Tagged for deletion

Thanks for fixing things for me. I think I was just in "delete" mode and couldn't think of the obvious things you had done. --joannac 01:42, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Spam edits

Just wanted to remind you I'm up to the "bismilah" section of the song ;) --joannac 05:31, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Meetup Planning

Hey, I finally just saw your message on the Wausau hash we did. It'd be totally cool to meet up with you for a hash. I guess we just need to collaborate to find a hash that isn't too out of the way for either of us and that fits into our schedules acceptably. For the most part, we're available on the weekends, mostly afternoons. If you find a good hash, let us know and we'll see what we can do! -- Bassoon 05:25 28 August, 2010 (UTC)

The 43 -87 hash is easily accessible! Are you free and if so what time? RocketMac 17:58, 10 August 2012 (EDT)

Currently vacationing in 44,-70, I'm afraid. Have a good time!--starbird 09:55, 11 August 2012 (EDT)
