From Geohashing

Paul, welcome. We'd have a lot better chance of being able to meet you if you'd let us know what graticules you're able to travel to. -Robyn 18:44, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

dur. i feel stupid. i live in the DC metro area, specifically annandale/fairfax. i can access the graticules around fairfax, but it would depend on the location of the geohache of the day as to which graticule would be easiest for me to travel to.

We're all in that boat. Sometimes you just have to become the pioneer and hope people rally around the cause. I'm lucky enough to live in the most active graticule in the world, if you count expeditions on a per-geohasher basis and not per graticule. I don't know what makes us this way, though! -Robyn 19:21, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

it would seem I've been doing a lot of that lately--Pacman529 19:31, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

But do remember that even without other people, geohashing can still be fun. Unlike Vancouver, in my graticule there's me, and there's... well, that's it. But I still had awesome fun today on a hashing expedition. Ok, so having others to join you is really good, but if not, keep going and they'll turn up eventually. Good luck. -- Benjw 19:55, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

lol thanks for the advice. i think it will definitely be something that i'll give a try at school. --Pacman529 20:01, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
