From Geohashing

Whoops guys, I think I just reverted one of your legit edits. If so, sorry. Enjoying reading your logs, even the ones I delete by accident :D Regards, UnwiseOwl 01:02, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

Ahoy!

Greetings, you two. If there were an achievement for getting most achievement in the shortest time.. I guess you'd be hot candidates. Love your expedition reports and the bear. :) Oh, and I'd like to ask you to use the "Show preview" button more.. frequent saves clutter the history log of the wiki, making it hard to find that specific edit. And it makes life easier a little easier for those weirdos junkiespeople who follow the recent changes of the wiki. Cheers, -- relet 15:17, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

Always enjoy your reports and pictures/comments

Thanks, guys, that's a very nice comment to leave. I really appreciate it. It does sometimes feel like every geohash around here is in an identical field to the last one, but I do try to put something different for each one! Glad you enjoy it. And good luck for your own hashes -- although you seem to be doing quite well at the moment! -- Benjw 03:01, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Speed Racer Speed

Ncbears, I added a 'speed' section to the Speed Racer ribbon. David Souther 22:40, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Greetings from North Carolina!

Hi there, Ncbears! I'm working along with a few friends and the school to coordinate a geohashing group. If at all possible, we should try to pick a point for an NC geohash meetup, and I thought I'd drop you guys a line, see if you would be interested in the idea. -Oracle989

Sure! And thanks for asking. Are you planning for a particular graticule? Just let us know. :o) -- NCBears 11:49, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Photo categories

Hi guys. Another good expedition (or two)! May I ask a favour? I noticed that you're good at adding categories to your photos like "Wildlife" and "Signs"... would you mind also adding the meetup categories [[Category:Meetup on YYYY-MM-DD]] and [[Category:Meetup in NN WWW]] when you upload them? Much obliged! -- Benjw 08:06, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Just noticed that you in fact already did this for at least one of your GPS photos -- great, thanks! -- Benjw 08:10, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Police geohash

I changed the ribbon so that you can customize it to show what kind of officer you met and how. -Robyn 21:39, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

xkcd-100

I added an optional distance parameter to the ribbon. -Robyn 20:38, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Empty expedition pages

Hey, can I delete 2009-01-01 35 -78? Also in future, if you don't make it and don't want to keep it, please mark the page with {{delete|REASON}} --joannac 02:14, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Yes, thank you.

Re Your HITO note - Talk:2009-05-30_30_-86

Thanks for the encouragement and letting us know someone is paying attention. You Bears are pretty active. Must be out of winter hibernation, if ever in. One day when you least expect it we shall meet at a hash near you. I often hang in Richmond or Mathews VA (Newport News grat). --Bos 20:21, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Current Events

I overrode an edit conflict with an IP you use on Geohashing:Current events I couldn't see anything you had done. Please re-edit if you were adding plans.

Globalhash!

The globalhash for Wednesday, September 8 is in the Belhaven graticule. Go get it! --starbird 05:56, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Monday Nov 15 globalhash opportunity

This Monday there is a globalhash in [36,-79] (Virginia side of Greensboro, NC grat.) Thought I should let you know... -- Phyzome 15:01, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
