From Geohashing

How can you have a blank talk page? That cannot be. I'll besmirch its emptiness by telling you that you don't have to put underscores in your page names. If you like it better that way, go ahead, but I think it looks nicer with spaces, and will have the same effect. Also, million zillion what? -Robyn 18:31, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

  1. Oh, I just cleared out an old (and no longer relevant) discussion of a past hash, leaving nothing. If it makes you feel any better, I'll mark your note above as "immutable" and leave it here until the eventual heat death of the universe. Ok?
  2. Spaces sometimes mess up URL references in general, so I avoid them by default. And it's sort of an old UNIX habit. Thanks for the tip, though.
  3. Also - ninjas! --Million zillion 18:45, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
You seem to have things under control. I'll just take it upon myself to litter your talk page with trivia at any point that it starts to look clean. -Robyn 18:55, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Atlanta

I had no idea that you were here now. --NWoodruff (talk) 15:54, 18 September 2016 (UTC)

Thanks. Are you still geohashing actively? Normally, I'd consider one or two expeditions per month to be fairly active, but your own record in this area tends to skew that perception... Million zillion (talk) 16:23, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
I'm still occasionally geohashing. It is harder to find time now that I have a son that is 5 years old.--NWoodruff (talk) 17:32, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
Yes, that makes sense. Even so, maybe we can coordinate for a meetup sometime soon. The last time I met someone at a geohash (not a drag-along) was Rhonda in 2010. Unless you count a hashcat, of course. Million zillion (talk) 18:59, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
I'll send you an email on the next one that I am going to make. I should have done yesterdays as it was only 3 miles from my house. But this is the weekend that I have my son. I'm trying to make it to 100 Saturday meetups.--NWoodruff (talk) 19:51, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
