From Geohashing

Welcome

Welcome to Geohashing! I'm in 52,9 (Hannover), not that far away, so it is not impossible for us to meet in the future. You are more probable to meet Georg first though, he goes geohashing in 51,9 too, and he does it a lot. --Fippe (talk) 06:18, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

Congratulations to your first geohash! Please have a look to my following edits. --GeorgDerReisende (talk) 19:20, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for welcoming me! Stumbled upon quite a lot of logs from both of you and enjoyed reading them! Honoustly, I thought a lot more people would be into geohashing, but it seems to be only a few maniacs that are active here... Nevertheless, I am looking forward to do some geohashing and to find out, if it suits me well or not ;-) --Digiphono (talk) 19:24, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

Hi Fippe - don't know if you're going to read this, but I noticed that the panoramic picture on your 2018-08-20_51_8 expedition seems to be corrupt... It doesn't show correctly... Respect for doing 2 hashes on the same day, including a huge walk through the woods, and congrats to your minesweeper achievements! (PS: Give me a brief feedback, so I know that you are being notified about this message or not.) --Digiphono (talk) 17:29, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

Unfortunately I did not get a notification, but for future reference, you can put {{talkback|Digiphono}} on my user page, then I know I have messages at your talk page.
On topic: Unfortunately I do not have an uncorrupted version of that file, Georg asked too, it's a shame. Thank you for the congratulations! The fun thing about the minesweeper achievement is that if you already have been to a few different graticules and then visit a new one, you will get a bunch of new ones at once. --Fippe (talk) 19:18, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
Too bad about that picture! haven't checked if you maybe did already, but you might take it down from that page, since other users would also wonder what's up with the pic and try to reload it three times, like i did ;-) even if i'm just a starter, i realize what an effort it is, to get this minesweeper 3x3 grid full with hashes - you must travel A LOT haha! ok, i'll be trying out this talkback template right now, hope it'll work haha --Digiphono (talk) 19:31, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
Ah, I see, that might be a good idea. --Fippe (talk) 20:34, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
