I'm a very handsome and muscular man from southern Sweden, but originally from northern Sweden. When I'm not geohashing I'm usually writing music or programming roguelikes. Many have described me as "creepy", for what reasons I do not know, but I guess there could be some truth in it regardless.

• 2008-10-13 67 20 - my first hash, with my friend Jeppzer. Virgin graticule, we also broke the North Geohash record.
• 2009-01-15 67 20 - really easy hash in Kiruna.
• 2009-01-16 67 20 - my first skiing geohash.
• 2009-01-17 67 21 - failed - attempt at a virgin graticule, terrain proved too difficult.
• 2009-01-31 66 21 - nice but exhausting trip through a nice forest. Virgin graticule.
• 2009-02-08 67 20 - slightly chilly hash where I crossed a bridge.
• 2009-02-09 67 20 - rather easy hash near my home. Almost lost a glove.
• 2009-02-11 66 21 - drove 339 km, walked through waist-deep snow to reach hash.
• 2009-02-13 67 20 - new Coldest Geohash record: -22.8 C.
• 2009-02-18 67 21 - virgin graticule, level 2 minesweeper, new Coldest Geohash record: -22.9 C.

I like claiming ribbons, so I'll just list the most interesting ones here. I no longer bother claiming Frozen Geohashes, as these are really easy to get in my graticule.

the ru has achieved Level 6 of the Minesweeper Geohash achievement by visiting coordinates in Kiruna, Sweden and 6 of the surrounding graticules.

the ru earned the Cold geohash achievement by reaching the (67, 21) geohash on 2009-02-18 while the temperature was -22.9 C.

the ru and Jeppzer earned the North geohash achievement by reaching the (67, 20) geohash on 2008-10-13.

the ru earned the Multihash Achievement by reaching the (67, 20) and (67, 19) geohashes on 2009-04-20.

the ru earned the Hashcard achievement by sending a postcard of the hashpoint area to relet on the (67, 19) expedition on 2009-04-20.

the ru and Jeppzer earned the Midnight Geohash achievement by reaching the (67, 20) geohash on 2009-04-20 in the middle of the night.

the ru earned the Walking on water geohash achievement by reaching the (67, 19) water geohash on 2009-04-20 on foot. Yes, on foot.

the ru earned the Drowned Rat Geohash Honourable Mention by reaching the (66, 20) geohash on 2009-04-27 despite being partially wet from wading through waist-deep wet snow.

• Garmin GPSmap 60CS - has more features than I'll ever use.
• Olympus C3020 - old camera. A few dead pixels, but still works fine. Very reliable.

[edit] Silly Achievements

Here are some silly achievements I've proposed.

• metalhash - going to the hash with long hair, corpsepaint, black clothes and rivets
• reverse coffin potato - being buried at the hash... and hopefully exhumed!
• skiing geohash - actually serious about this, but it met some resistance
• geoband (or bandhash?) - assembling a group of musicians and performing a piece of music at the hash. Could be combined with metalhash!
