I love the idea of Achievements, I want them *all*. When I started geohashing I imposed a restriction on myself of one award per geohash, but now I take as many as apply that I don't have yet.

Many of these achievements are attainable more than once, but I don't collect multiple copies. I only take a ribbon for the first time I achieve the feat. I might replace a ribbon here with a more impressive or photogenic version of the achievement, however. In chronological order, most recently earned last.

Robyn earned the Air Geohash Achievement by reaching the (31, -84) geohash on 2008-06-11 by air, attaining the rank of Pilot.

Robyn earned the Bicycle geohash achievement by cycling to the (49, -122) geohash on 2008-07-05.

Robyn earned the Drag-along achievement by dragging Wade to the (47, -121) geohash on 2008-07-06.

Robyn earned the Ambassador achievement by obtaining permission to access the (47, -122) geohash on 2008-07-18.

Robyn earned the Border geohash achievement on 2008-07-28 by crossing the Canada-USA border to reach the (48, -123) geohash.

Robyn earned the Velociraptor Geohash Achievement by reaching the (55, -114) geohash for 2008-08-24 with highly visible raptor claw marks.

Robyn has visited an Easy Geohash by reaching the (55, -114) geohash on 2008-08-29 without really trying.

Robyn earned the GeoTrash Geohash Achievement by cleaning up the (53, -113) geohash on 2008-08-30.

Robyn earned the Walk geohash Achievement by reaching the (49, -123) geohash on 2008-09-11 on foot, travelling a distance of 3.5 km.

Robyn earned the Midnight Geohash achievement by reaching the (49, -122) geohash on 2008-09-19 in the middle of the night.

Robyn earned the Buccaneer Geohash Achievement by attending a midnight geohash in pirate attire on TLAP Day at the (49, -122) geohash on 2008-09-19.

Robyn earned the Sunrise Geohash Achievement by reaching the (49, -123) geohash on 2008-09-21 to smile at the first rays of sun to cross the horizon.

Robyn earned the Water Geohash Achievement by reaching the (49, -123) geohash on 2008-09-21 by inflatable pool toy rowboat.

Robyn earned the Speed racer achievement by passing through the (49, -124) geohash on 2008-09-21 at 56.91 km/h.

Robyn earned the Public transport geohash achievement by reaching the (49, -123) geohash on 2008-09-25 via the 33 UBC bus.

Robyn earned the Meet-up achievement by meeting HollyB, Jaem, and DaleF at the (49, -123) geohash on 2008-09-25.

Robyn earned the 5 Star GeoSquishy Achievement by earning 5 stars all at the (47, -122) geohash on 2009-01-22.

Robyn earned the Earliest geohasher achievement by arriving first at the (49, -123) geohash on 2009-01-24.

Robyn earned the Hashcard achievement by sending a postcard of the hashpoint area to Kate on the (47, -122) expedition on 2009-01-22.

Robyn earned the Twister Geohash Achievement by playing Twister at the (49, -123) geohash on 2009-03-05.

Robyn earned the Hash collision achievement by discovering the geocache GC1HTNJ 20 m from the (49, -123) geohash on 2009-03-05.

Robyn earned the Frozen Geohash Achievement by reaching the (49, -123) geohash on 2009-03-09 while the temperature was 0.0°C.

Robyn earned the Birthday Geohash Achievement by reaching the (47, -122) geohash on her 42nd birthday, 2009-03-23.

Robyn earned the Formal attire achievement by looking good at the (49, -122) geohash on 2009-04-18.

Robyn earned the Camping geohash achievement by camping in a very waterproof tent 937 m the (48, -122) geohash on 2009-05-02, from 15:40 p.m. to after breakfast.

Robyn earned the Police Geohash Achievement by being questioned by the Homeland Security Border Patrol while attempting the (48, -122) geohash on 2009-05-02.

Robyn earned the XKCD-100 Achievement by voyaging 675 km to reach the (50, -119) geohash on 2009-05-09.

Robyn earned the 2009 Geohashing Day achievement by celebrating in the (48, -123) graticule on May 21st 2009.

Robyn earned the Calendar girl achievement by taking compromising photographs for public consumption at the (48, -123) geohash on 2009-05-21.

Robyn earned the Phonebooth stuffing achievement by helping stuff a phonebooth near the (48, -123) geohash on 2009-05-21.

Robyn earned the 2009 Mouse Over Day achievement by gathering at Canada Place in the (49, -123) graticule on the Saturday following May 21st 2009.

These are achievements that require going to multiple geohashes to reach, on the same day, or over time.

Robyn earned the Multihash Achievement by reaching the (54, -114) and (53, -113) geohashes on 2008-08-30.

Robyn earned the Consecutive geohash achievement by reaching three consecutive hash points starting on 2008-08-28.

Robyn has enjoyed GeoSquishy treats for a cumulative total of 5 points

Robyn earned the xkcd Decurion achievement by attending 12 Saturday meetups.

Robyn has achieved Level 7 of the Minesweeper Geohash achievement by visiting coordinates in Bellingham, Washington and 7 of the surrounding graticules.

Robyn has achieved Level 5 of the Minesweeper Geohash achievement by visiting coordinates in Surrey, British Columbia and 5 of the surrounding graticules.

Robyn has achieved Level 4 of the Minesweeper Geohash achievement by visiting coordinates in Vancouver, British Columbia and 4 of the surrounding graticules.

Robyn has achieved Level 4 of the Minesweeper Geohash achievement by visiting coordinates in Seattle, Washington and 4 of the surrounding graticules.

Robyn has achieved Level 3 of the Minesweeper Geohash achievement by visiting coordinates in Barrhead, Alberta and 3 of the surrounding graticules.

These are ribbons that I collect each time I earn one, because they are specific to different places or dates.

These are kind of special ribbons because unless geohashing dies out, it's going to be a rare day on which someone can earn one again.

I need to comb through the BC regional districts to see if I have completed any others. Thanks to Rhonda for chopping the province into bite-sized pieces.

Robyn earned the Regional geohashing achievement by reaching a hash point in all 2 graticules belonging to GVRD.

Robyn earned the Reverse regional achievement by reaching hash points in all 2 regions of the Victoria, British Columbia (48, -123) graticule.

(For visiting both the USA and Canada in the Victoria graticule).

I was the first to reach coordinates in a number of graticules. Some were reached by air, not on the ground. Arranged north to south, west to east.

Just one, so far. It's partly a joke, and more a testament to my early start at geohashing than the coldness of the geohash. On this day this was the coldest reported geohashing temperature ever. I've been to colder geohashes, but not again to the coldest ever.

Robyn earned the Cold geohash achievement by reaching the (55, -114) geohash on 2008-08-21 while the temperature was 14.8°C.

For when I failed to reach a geohash in an interesting way.

Robyn earned the Prize poultry Consolation Prize by chickening out on the (48, -122) geohash on 2008-06-03.

Robyn earned the No trespassing consolation prize by almost reaching the (48, -121) geohash on 2008-07-19.

Robyn earned the There might be alligators! consolation prize by being prevented from reaching the (55, -114) geohash on 2008-08-16 by an impassable and unforseen marsh (and probably lurking alligators).

Robyn earned the "Mother Nature's Bitch" Consolation Prize by failing to reach the (55, -115) geohash on 2008-08-17.

Robyn earned the Blinded by Science Consolation Prize by failing to reach the (49, -123) geohash on 2008-07-21 when she missed a digit entering coordinates in her GPS.

[edit] Gratuitous Ribbons

These are silly one-off ribbons commemorating things that aren't really achievements.

Robyn earned the Badger Mushroom Snake Ribbon by acting out the Badger Badger Badger song, on Badger Road, en route to (48, -122) geohash on 2009-04-05.

Robyn earned the Redefined Success Ribbon by not being eaten by bears while getting to within a kilometre of the (49, -123) geohash on 2009-04-06.

Robyn earned the Master of Chicken Counting Ribbon by estimating within 4% the number of chickens at the (49, -123) geohash on 2009-04-18.
