About

Hi it's me, Leslie Hapablap (Simpsons reference inside). I'm from Germany originally, but currently living and geohashing in Innsbruck, Austria. Usually I go on expeditions together with EleanorAbernathy (Simpsons, anyone?) and our hashcot Waltraud, and we also introduced 1-0 to geohashing. This makes Innsbruck the most active Austrian graticule at the moment. Typically we only attempt interesting coordinates, the ones which can be combined with biking, running, joggling or mountaineering. Car-only expeditions probably will be attempted only if they are along a route we would have taken anyway.

• Samsung Galaxy S3, with the apps Geohash Droid, OruxMaps (for offline maps, quality maps available at mapsforge, just drop the map files into the folder /oruxmaps/mapfiles on your android phone) and GPS Status & Toolbox. In case you wonder: the screenshots of the gps radar you find on my expedition reports as proof of location can be taken by pressing and holding the power and home button simultaneously.
