I am a student at University of Canterbury. Got a bike and a metrocard. But do not have a GPS unit so will have to rely on Google/Paper maps.

I have been bored and making a map in Google Maps showing the Geohash location since January. So far done January and May, and in those two months, only one geohash has fallen in Christchurch (2008-01-25), and it would have been a great location as well --- in the middle of Avonhead Park.
