  • 29 July 2022 - The geohashes for the next few days have arranged themselves in a smiley face pattern. neat

  • 30 July 2022 - The transport options between Ryde and Portsmouth are varied and rather well coordinated, with many options - a ferry to Ryde Pier Head, and from there the train into Ryde or further beyond, or the hovertravel that also takes you to right outside a train station. There's even a catamaran, although I did not see any

  • 31 July 2022 - Today I ate at The Sloop Inn in Fishbourne. The chips were a bit mediocre and my calzone was a bit burnt, but the inside was pretty nice.
  • 1 August 2022 - Unperforated toilet paper has got to be one of the words ideas ever concocted by mankind
  • 3 August 2022 - i found a plant that's really trying to be real, but it's plastic and will always stay that way. poor thing.

  • 4 August 2022 - I've now been outside in the sweltering British summer heat for extended periods of time for three days in a row now. i, unfortunately, am one of those people who, rather than tan, get sunburnt. The back of my neck and forearms are vibrant and blotchy and itch like mad. this sucks
  • 5 August 2022 - I was playing adventure golf in Shanklin today; they had this really weird green water. like i don't even know how you make water that luminous

    and yes, we lost a ball in there. Because of the sludge's opacity it took a while to fish out.
  • 26 August 2022 - i haven't put anything here in a while. That's because life has been quite uneventful at the moment
