Talk:Relay Geohash

From Geohashing

Oppose - actually implementing this is not difficult, but feels very set-up. -- relet 02:43, 11 April 2012 (EDT)

Oppose - I think all potential participants should just visit the hash as a group instead of relaying the GPS and not visiting the point ;-) If they wouldn't go anyway, it means that either a basically unrelated step is added before the actual expedition (which is done by the last holder and noone else in that case) or it just comes down to borrowing a GPS. Which isn't even really needed to reach the spot. --Ekorren 13:00, 11 April 2012 (EDT)

Oppose - Agree with Ekorren. Geohashing is about getting people to hashpoints, not devices. The ru 06:47, 20 August 2012 (EDT)

Oppose - partly because I oppose in principle any 'achievement' which requires only one person in a group to reach the hashpoint itself, and partly because it involves too much forward planning, which isn't very consistent with the idea of a 'spontaneous adventure generator'. — Benjw  {talk} 07:01, 20 August 2012 (EDT)
