Talk:Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

From Geohashing

As an OU student, I'm thrilled by the way this graticule is located! It's basically centered on OKC, and it includes Norman and a few other reasonably-sized (for Oklahoma) cities while escaping OSU and Stillwater.

Yeah, we got lucky, didn't we? BTW, I'm also an OU student, and although I'll be out of town this Saturday, I'll be there on the 31st, and if the meeting spot's not too far away (read: south of Oklahoma City), I'll be there! Trvsdrlng 17:43, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Unfortunately I won't be making any geohashes anytime soon (at least not here). When I'm back for fall semester, I should be able to make at least some, and I can recruit at least a couple people. ~K

So, from what I can tell, nobody is really planning anything soon, nor has there been any major activity in this graticule in a while. If anybody is still actively watching this page, or is planning anything, please mention it here on the discussion page. --Mashby5 (talk) 19:56, 16 April 2013 (EDT)

I can't help but think that I am shouting in the dark. If anyone reads this, please reply, just so I know I'm not entirely alone in this graticule.--Mashby5 (talk) 05:22, 17 June 2013 (EDT)

You apparently aren't the only person in your graticule with Geohashing on your mind. Someone seems to have gone out to a hashpoint about a week ago. But don't dispair that you're in a low activity graticule. Go out and have fun. If you hash in a place where people are likely to go, leave a marker of some sort that can send people to your expedition writeup or the graticule page. Eventually, other geohashers will likely appear in your graticule. --Eldin (talk) 01:21, 7 August 2013 (EDT)
