Cool, welcome to Seattle geohashing! If you want to be notified when other people around here are planning hashes, you should go into your preferences and turn on the "email me when a page on my watchlist is changed" (and for good measure the "watch pages that I edit" or something like that) and then "watch" the Seattle page, by clicking the watch tab at the top. That way you'll get emailed when someone adds a new expedition here. Which happens reasonably often. To clear it you have to visit the page while signed in to your account though, otherwise it won't send you any more emails... so when you login you should check the "keep me signed in" thing or whatever it's called.

I wish it wasn't this complicated... hopefully see you at a hash!
