Talk:München, Germany/Quicklinks

From Geohashing

Awesome! Good job, Koepfel! ... There's just one thing that I don't get: Why does this page not show the Map section that is clearly part of the "original" page? Not that we need it when we have the Quick Links, just out of curioisity ... -- aww, note to self: read the code... (noinclude tag!). --Zb 16:55, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

I put it inside a <noinclude>-tag. Anything inside these will not be embedded into other pages. I also put this tag around the note about the quicklinks page at the very top of the München, Germany-page, because it's obviously not needed there. There's also the opposite of it, the <includeonly>-tag, which hides anything inside on the actual page, and only shows it when embedded. Koepfel talk 16:58, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Another Note to self: read, what other people wrote after an edit conflict ;) Koepfel talk 17:01, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
So, in theory, using both the <noinclude>-tag and the <includeonly>-tag, it would be possible to only maintain München, Germany and leave München, Germany/Quicklinks empty except for the {{:München, Germany}} command? I don't know if it's really helpful, but it might make it possible to have only one page to maintain... --Zb 04:30, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Yep, should be possible. Koepfel talk 07:14, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
