three possibilities come to mind
1) "Frisbee" is so trademarked that you can't even say the word 2) you are mocking ridiculous trademark laws by not saying "frisbee" 3) you are talking about something distinctly different from a frisbee 4) where you come from, everyone calls frisbees "novelty flying disc"s"
