Suggestion Alternative Locations
Since half of this graticule is covered by water, could it be a sensible idea to change the algorhitm for this meeting point to end up in the southern half more often? This would certainly improve the number of possible meeting locations, or merely suggest a secondary if the primary one is out of reach. There are numerous possible implementations; for example:
- flip/mirror the graticule when the meeting point touches water,
- compress the vertical distance by half,
- several limitations, conditions or mathematical operations combined ;) .
Any other idea's ?
