From Geohashing

Sea location

This graticule has the problem that quite a large part of it is unreachable because of the sea. If the geohashed location turns out to be in the sea (the chance of this is not negligible), can I suggest that maybe the geohashed location of the east-side neighbours be used as back-up? The official policy is postponing the meet-up (but that would happen too often); or alternatively, renting a boat (but that might be costly). --Unsigned

When the location is in the sea, it means the eastern neighbour location is in Holland, which is too far for us (bike). We will probably go to the southern neighbour meeting. --FrederikVds 15:39, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
