Welcome to GeoHashing! Sounds like quite the interesting adventure. You should still write up your first expedition even though it was unsuccessful. You qualify for No Trespassing and you can start your way on the Posted Achievement. On this hash, if the temps were in the 20's, I'd still claim the Frozen Hash even if you don't have a thermometer.
