Botany

I still say it was a cherry laurel bush, not rhododendron. --Calamus 09:44, 20 January 2014 (EST)

Cooperation across time

Pretty awesome that our prior exploration opened the way for you, Guga! Next time the way is hard to find, you go first and draw us a map. ^^ --Calamus 13:32, 20 January 2014 (EST)

It was really cool :P I was lucky you had already entered your tale. However, I'm looking at the pics, and it turns out the gap I found isn't the same you found :P I went through another gap on the exact opposite corner, near the gate. But I wouldn't have seen it if you didn't mention the other one :D --Guga2112 (talk) 15:22, 23 January 2014 (EST)

Hash Wobble

I've encountered this several times. I attribute it to refraction in the atmosphere caused by layers of air at different temperatures and humidities. This has been researched in relation to VHF and UHF radio communication and it's certainly a real effect. Cumulus clouds with rising warmer air seem to cause the effect. Sea breezes also seem to cause problems with cool damp air flowing under warmer dry air. Conclusion: if the hashpoint is just on the wrong side of a fence, try waiting for a wobble. Okay, Calamus, don't say it out loud. It would be racist. Just keep it inside your head. Control yourself... control your— IN SOVIET RUSSIA, HASHPOINT REACHES YOU! --Calamus 03:27, 21 January 2014 (EST)
