Welcome to Geohashing and congratulations on your first hash! Let's hope that many are to follow and that you are successful in their persuit.
Please note that unless it was a very small pond and therefore you managed to get within your GPS's error margin of the hashpoint, the coordinates cannot be considered reached. In this case, a no trespassing consolation prize would be in order (but not my kingdom for a boat, as you couldn't reach the pond). It is important, however, not to consider an expedition a failure just because you didn't reach the coordinates.
