How nice that we can have the same experience worlds apart! In an expedition I never documented, I descended a ravine, hoping to follow a creek upstream (during low water) for a kilometer or so. I was met with the largest colonies of Devil's Club I had ever seen. After 3 hours I was less than half way and turned back.

Man, you should document your hashes! At least write up a quick description of that nasty one.
I have the car at a garage in Wonthaggi now, so I'll know what's happened to the clutch soon. It's the same garage as where I got the clutch replaced, so I'd better not get charged for it...
