Largest Geohashing party? Good question. Afaik there is no way to search for this nor anyone keeping track. Therefore, all of the following is pretty much from my own memory. It's the most drag-along participants I've seen, and the most in Italy. One of the seminal American expeditions was over 38, in Australia six met and are still active, in Germany there was rowdy nine, and a recent eleven in Canada. These groups consisted almost entirely of independent geohashers. Congratulations on your set of milestones. -Juventas 02:57, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Thank you! According to the largest geohash page, we are not the biggest group, but we did make to the top ten. --Zaphod 15:35, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Gah.. you found a page when I did not. It says the ribbon can be taken "to commemorate the largest meetup in your graticule". Apparently I'm not the only one who wasn't aware of it. None of the Canadian, Australian, British, or New Zealand (I'm sure I'm missing others) meetups are listed. At least one that is listed supplied no proof. -Juventas 20:01, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Well done guys, Geohashing is gaining momentum in Italy too! "Geoesci?" --Mv 16:15, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

"Geoesci?" -- I guess if you want to write it in Italian so that it is spelled like in English, this would be the closest match --Zaphod 20:11, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Woo and yay for birthday party geohashes and forest frisbee! -- relet 13:17, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
