From Geohashing

Thanks for the thought with the marker. :) I generally don't even look at coordinates outside of the weekend. Although even when a weekend coordinate is a stone's throw from a paved road, I instead look for other days/graticules that could prove more adventurous. Of course, if there was a better chance of a meetup, I'd probably change my ways. Juventas 04:36, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

It's kind of a tradeoff, isn't it... the ones on road(side)s are easy and thus less interesting, but also have a higher likelihood of meeting somebody who isn't as insane as, say, you or half of the Vancouver hashers, who climb mountains and bushwhack to get their points. And meeting people is interesting too, which is why I also do road accessible ones. As for meeting people, my mom has been known to go into the Vernon graticule from time to time... dragged her neighbour on a hash hike up Sun Peaks once! -- Rhonda 05:01, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
