From Geohashing

I just wanted to mention again (I have done so in the channel, but here it is permanent), that I love the looks of your graticule. I mean, beavers building dams across a "road". That's awesome! :D -- relet 11:59, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to the boonies. :) I try to geohash here, but I truly need a bike, French lessons, and a regular schedule. - 03:47, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

They're a really good icon. They were part of the engine of the country's initial economic development. Almost wiped out by their role in that, they demonstrated that they are dam resilient, and they work with water and timber, planning for the cold winters and changing their environment to make it more hospitable. They take good care of their families, chew off their own limbs to escape traps, and the Americans mistake them for something they can ... you can look up the American slang if you don't know. I've been almost thwarted by beavers twice. -Robyn 17:17, 28 February 2012 (EST)
