I actually thought he said "What are you doing in there?" and was afraid that he was someone who disapproved of bramble spelunking, but he later translated for me. I couldn't see him yet at that point. I think it was also the second thing he said, because that's what I remember him asking as he came into view. I had really crawled into the very centre of the bramble patch.

As he arrived at the geohash I stuck a camera in his face, and he held out a hand for shaking. That would have been the right moment to say "Fbfree, I presume?" but I didn't.

Ahh, now I read his version of events, I imagine that the first thing he said was "Do I hear someone from the Internet in there?" so that "How did you get in there?" was the second thing he said, and the one he repeated later when I asked what he had said. -Robyn 04:46, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
