From Geohashing

North American Landscape

Awwww... the places you visit while hashing are definitely cool. That lake surrounded by forest and the sunny weather makes me jealous. Expeditions like yours take geohashing to a full new level.

Geohashing has made me appreciate how wild my country is. Believe it or not, that expedition took place in the built-up, southern portion of one of the more accessible lakes in British Columbia. There were a few cabins (accessible only by boat) along the shore on the way, and of course there was the road up to the boat launch. But it was a beautiful paddle across the lake and I can't quite grasp that every country doesn't have places like this. -Robyn 21:02, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
