From Geohashing

Grin. I thought of that, but is is actually very exacting work to fly to a precise point, even though the client wanted the airplane slowed down a bit to 160 knots. I will save that honour for my personal page until it's a little easier than that, but I'll keep it on the geohash page.

Thanks for reading! -Robyn 00:12, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Wow, I'm jealous of how many you can make it to. Nice job on yet another geohash! Srs0 03:34, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

I'll be back in the lower mainland soon enough, cursing the watershed, the mountains, and the Georgia Straight, just like everyone else. Maybe some Saturday when the weather is good but the geohash is someplace completely stupid I'll rent an airplane and we'll have a bicycle-to-air multihash. We'll nab someplace insane like Port Renfrew. -Robyn 04:46, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

That would be utterly amazing on so many different levels. As someone who's completed (and LOVED) the West Coast Trail, I've attached probably a bit too much importance to that area of the world. Regardless, here's hoping the geohashes in the Vancouver region(s) improve once you return! So far it appears as if the algorithm supports you, so let's hope that continues back here!
