Are you wearing Shimano SPD bike shoes with cleats? I've got the same shoes (or very similar). The bike doesn't look as if it's got the appropriate pedals. --Reinhard 13:38, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
Ah yes, there's a long story connected with that. I've been spending the last month and a bit cycling up the length of Vietnam, and was planning to continue into China. Unfortunately, my hydraulic disc brakes wore out and my replacements never arrived at the town in which I was staying, so I had to post my bike to Nepal while I get spares.
That left me with two panniers and bike shoes to travel in China, waiting for my pack to turn up in Hong Kong where I sent it from Ha Noi. It's all in my blog: http://felixintheworld.blogspot.com/
