I can't say for sure from this angle, but Alfred 2 might be one of the trucks that use a long steel cable to pull glider planes until they're fast enough to continue on their own? I can't see the cable winch that would have to be on the back, but the thing on top would make very much sense: It protects the back of the truck from the falling rope dropped by the plane once it's fast enough, and as the truck is usually at the end of the runway, the red and white front says "I am an obstacle! That would make perfectly sense. The vehicle is located at the end of the meadow they use as a runway. Yeah, I somehow hoped for Robyn to find the question ;-) --Ekorren 11:17, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
