Oh, the locks are in series, not parallel. That's less serious. When the locks are in a string like that, it's so that anyone with a key to one of the locks can get in. It's a way to lock it with access to multiple people without having to get extra keys cut, and allowing person X to have the same key to all his gates without having to share his keys with people who are allowed into only some of them. It's when the locks are in parallel so all the keyowners have to be there at once to open the gate that they are really serious. Also, categories are good. -Robyn 07:15, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
