I took a short feet-facing film of me striding forth, which I then split into individual frames. This is the one I chose. It's actually one of the few photos from this day without Category:Winter on it, because there isn't actually any snow in the shot! I think it was under some trees, as well as traffic having been that way and cleared what did get onto the road. On the other hand, it's also the only photo with (a bit of) myself on it. I don't really like people in photos, anyway, and I'd left the tripod back in the car, even if I'd thought to put myself in shot while failing to get anywhere.
