This is the graticule that contains the city of Dundee, Scotland, in the United Kingdom. It is situated at latitude 56, longitude -2.

It includes among other places:

  • Dundee
  • Stonehaven
  • Montrose
  • St Andrews
  • Arbroath
  • Leuchars
  • North Berwick
  • Dunbar
  • parts of Cupar

It also contains a considerable amount of water. Anyone wishing to go exploring these particular bodies of waters is generally advised against it. They're not particular safe places to go boating. Or for those who don't really want to go for the elusive Water Geohash achievement there are also plenty of chances for the MNIMB Geohash, MNB Geohash or Golf Geohash!

[edit] Expeditions

[edit] 2009

On 2009-08-16, Jones reached the hash slightly off the road near Cairncross. This was the first documented expedition to this graticule.

[edit] 2012

On 2012-08-09, Sourcerer visited a field beside the coast road east of St. Andrews. He believed incorrectly that this was the first expedition in the graticule so he withdraws his Virgin Graticule claim and now awards it to Jones who visited in 2009.
