The Cincinnati graticule is at latitude 39, longitude -84. The graticule is 68.91 miles long (North-to-South) and ranges from 53.0 miles wide (East-to-West) at its northern boundary to 53.77 miles wide at its southern boundary. Thus, the area of this graticule is approximately 3,678.8 square miles.
It includes the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Metropolitan areas as well as most of the Dayton, Ohio Metropolitan Area and the schools University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, Miami University, Thomas More College, College of Mt. St. Joseph, Cincinnati State, University of Dayton, Wright State University, Earlham College and Sinclair Community College. Although it is almost entirely golf courses land, the Ohio River and numerous tributaries as well as the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base are also located here, possibly limiting the number of available geohashes.

This one's on OH-4, just off Harshman
Anyone planning to be there? Any recommendations for nearby alternate spots?
There is the school (Mad River, I think) and nearby eateries (China Buffet)
and the weather should be nice.

- Monday July 27 2009 Geohash Scottkuma dragged along three others to their first geohash!
- Friday July 25 Not one, but (count 'em) two golf courses (extremely close)
- Tuesday July 8 ScottKuma drove within 15' of the hash location, but lacked the GPS to accurately document the occasion. D'oh!
- Sunday June 22 Convenient Dayton location
