Plans

Somewhen in the morning grab my bike. I want to go after some geocaches, and then, pass by this hash. It's been a while since my last expedition.

Expedition

Well today was a geoProductive day we could say. Geocaching, waymarking, geohashing, some palindromic coordinates and all this crazy thing I like to enjoy with the help of my GPS.

Let's start in the beginning. I grabbed my bike at 11 am. Not as early as planned, but good enough. I started in Greifswald and went toward Hanshagen and from there to Wrangelsburg. I have been a few times in Wrangelsburg, and there is a castle there (well, a german "Schloss", not the kind of medieval castle you can expect from the name; more like a Villa). But all this time it was being reformed and I could only see the scaffoldings... finally today I could see the Schloss reformed and in all its glory :)

After that I went to the Wrangelsburg Burgwall (wikipedia says its called Gord in English). A beautiful place hidden in the forest that I would not have discovered if it were not of geocaching. Actually I went after this geocache. I had logged a DNF almost one year ago and the owner was kind enough to replace it and today I had the opportunity to go here again and be successful.

After that I went to search for some more geocaches. I biked by Kühlenhagen, Lodmannshagen and finally by Neu Boltenhagen. There I took the road that goes north and were today's geohash had fallen.

I located the place, I tried to get as close as possible and success!! Coordinates reached! Last march I had no opportunity to go after no hash, so I was specially eager to be able to find one again :D

But then I had no more geocaches to find, no more geohashes... well, what now? And since I was with my GPS I though, hey, are any palindromic coordinates near? You know, those crazy hobbies some of us have with GPS... And yes, I had the chance to go by two of them (the third one was right in the middle of a field, out of reach).

So I went to the first palindromic coordinates, near a wind turbine, between the blooming yellow rapeseed fields. Now in may is when they bloom and they are gorgeous. Spectacular how the yellow fields will look in the next weeks. One of my favourite times of the year here, no joking ;)

After that, I went to the second palindromic coordinates, in Rappenshagen. I also found this one with no problems. And after that yes. I could call it a day. And a productive one. I biked the remaning kilometres home, and... that's all folks!
